John Anthony Milanowski

John “Jack” Milanowski, age 59 of Grand Rapids, passed away Friday, October 18, 2013. He was preceded in death by his father, Honorable John Milanowski; brother, Donald Milanowski; mother-in-law, Julie Longo; father-in-law, Michael Longo, sister-in-law, Marianne Casarez. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Maureen “Mo”; children, Matthew (Lauren) Milanowski, Lindsay (John) Finlay, Kaylee (Mark Swanson) Milanowski; grandchildren, Allison, Jessica, Natalie, and Ryan; mother, Rosemary Milanowski; brothers, Robert (Sue) Milanowski, Andrew (Julie) Milanowski; sisters, Julie Hunter, Janet (Rich O’Connell) Milanowski, Mary (John) Hildreth, sister and personal nurse – Ann (Frank) Bongiorno, Therese Seefeldt; also many nieces and nephews. Jack was a proud graduate of Catholic Central High School class of 1972. Jack lived his life to the fullest surrounding himself with family and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday 11:00 a.m. at St. Alphonsus, 224 Carrier St. N.E., Grand Rapids. Rev. Paul Milanowski officiating. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Visitation Monday 1-3:00 p.m. and 5:30-8:30 p.m. with Vigil Service 8:30 p.m. at O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel, 3980 Cascade Road, Grand Rapids.
