Joanne Marie Callear

Joanne Marie Callear, age 79 passed away peacefully on Thursday January 23, 2014. She was preceded in death by parents Raymond and Sigrid Peterson and sister Barbara Abrams. Joanne was retired from Forest Hills ISD and is survived by loving husband of 60 years Ted E. Callear, five children Clark (LeeAnn) Callear, Lynn O’Neil (fiancé Richard Ortiz), Ralph (Linda) Callear, Keith Callear, Marsha (Jerry) Steele; 12 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; sisters, Marlyss Rzepko, Marylee Creech; several nieces and nephews; also several grand-dogs. Services will be held Tuesday January 28 11:30 a.m. at O’Brien-Gerst Chapel, 3980 Cascade Rd SE, Grand Rapids. Pastor Robert Appold of St. Matthew Lutheran Church officiating. Visitation one hour prior. Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Asthma Foundation.
