Jerry Kenneth Koert

Jerry Kenneth Koert, age 83 passed away Tuesday, November 24, at home with family by his side.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Cornelius and Dorothy Koert; his brother, Gary James Koert and nephew, John Boaz.  Jerry is survived by his sisters, Betty Boaz, Linda Lee Koert, Cheryl Ann Koert Fitzsimmons and brother-in-law Kenneth Fitzsimmons; nieces Allison (Jim) Rapson and Elizabeth (Stephan) Carnesi; great nieces and nephews, Amanda (John) Kozar; their children Bryce, Haylie and Jaxson; Alexandria (Shaun) Carley and their soon to be son; Izzy Rapson and fiancé Nate Stahl; Robert Rapson and Pierre, John and Jane Carnesi.  Jerry worked for J.C. Penney from March 1968 to March 2005.  Jerry loved his horses and was avid U of M fan!!!   Jerry will be very much missed by family and friends.  A celebration of life will be held at a later date when restrictions  are lifted.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to an Animal shelter or St.Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
