Jerald Washburn

Jerald “Jerry” Washburn of, age 77, of Ada, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 18.  He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Gail; children Jerald Washburn II; Peggy (Jeff) Jacobs; Christine VanRooyen; Sister, Janice See; 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.  Jerry retired after 36 years from Amway, and proudly served on the Ada Fire Department.  He had a love for old cars and enjoyed spending time with his family.

Visitation will be Monday, April 22 from 2-4 and 6-8 at O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel, 3980 Cascade Rd SE, Grand Rapids.  Funeral service will be Tuesday, April 23 at 11:30a.m. at O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel, with Rev. Jeff Burr, of Forest Hills Baptist Church officiating. Interment Ada Cemetery after service.

Visitation one hour prior to service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jerry’s name to Kindred Hospice,  625 Kenmoor Ave SE, Ste 115, Grand Rapids, MI 49546.
