Jeanne Eileen Linak, age 93, of Grand Rapids, died Wednesday, June 24, 2020. She was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick Linak in 2006 and brothers, Lawrence Humberstone and Robert Humberstone. Jeanne is survived by her children, William (Janeen Woodbury) Linak of Raleigh, NC, James (fiancée Traudi Eizenberger) Linak of San Antonio, TX, Patricia Linak of Grand Rapids, Steven (Julie) Linak of San Antonio, TX; grandchildren, Margaret Linak, Scott (Jessica) Linak, Alix Bohn (special friend Nicholas Mokma), Ryan Linak; sister-in-law, Marilyn Linak; also nieces and nephews. She was a graduate of the University of Illinois and worked as a physical education teacher. Jeanne participated in the senior Olympics and won various medals. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11 AM on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at St. Robert of Newminster, 6477 Ada Dr SE, Ada, MI 49301 with services being live streamed on YouTube, https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCtnk3eEWhKrETMzHwc_MSDA with visitation one-hour prior. Rev. Leonard Sudlik presiding. We will be following Covid restrictions per the executive order, please note that masks will be required. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
