MOJICA After a miraculous 15 year battle with cancer God has called our wife mother grandmother and great-grandmother home. Jeanette Marie Mojica known to her friends and family as Jan entered into eternal life on July 28 2011. She joins her parents Adrian and Minnie Souza; sister Catherine Montalbo and daughter Jan Marie. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 45 years Simon; her sister Patricia Lee (Kenneth) and her brother Howard Souza (Shirley) of Maui Hawaii. Her spirit will be kept alive forever by her children Michele Calpito (Ajani), Melissa Skinner (Joel), Sheryl Brown (Jevon); her truly beloved grandchildren Kelsey Ian and Hannah Calpito Ezekiel Cory Gabriel Isaac Elijah and Ava Skinner Thomas Mojica Jevon and Naomi Brown; her two great-grandchildren Camden and Giovanni; many special nieces nephews cousins in-laws and friends. Jan expressed her desire to recognize all of the Spectrum Health nurses and Hospice staff with a heartfelt thank you. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered 10:30 AM at St. Thomas the Apostle Church 1449 Wilcox Park Dr. SE Rev. James A. Chelich presiding. Visitation 3-6 PM ending with a rosary at the OBrien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel 3980 Cascade Rd. SE.
