Jean Louise Cederquist

Jean Louise Cederquist, age 86 of Cascade Township, passed away peacefully Wednesday, October 21, 2020.  She volunteered extensively and loved playing the piano or organ at church and school functions. Many fond memories were made camping and at summer cottages with family and friends. Jean was a loving wife and mother clearly shown as she and Gene adopted Deana and Michael, who were her pride and joy. Jean will be lovingly missed by all. She was preceded in death by her son, Randy Cederquist; sister, Joan Maxwell; and brother, Bill Johnson. Jean is survived by her husband of 64 years, Eugene; daughter, Deana Beckner; son, Michael Cederquist; brothers, Martin Johnson and Gerald Johnson; 5 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Monday, October 26, 2020 from 2-4 PM & 6-8 PM at O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel, 3980 Cascade Rd. SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546. Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Cascade Christian Church, 2829 Thornapple River Dr. SE, Ada, MI 49301. Pastor Jill Forton, officiating. Masks and social distancing will be required at both locations. Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
