Irene I. Geglio

GEGLIO Irene I. Geglio aged 86 of Grand Rapids died June 11 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband Anthony in 2009; brothers Aldo and Leo Imperi. She is survived by her son Richard (Veronica) Geglio; daughter Sherry Bartley; granddaughter Becky Bartley; grandsons Brian Joseph (Katie) Bartley Brett Anthony Bartley and Marco Peter Geglio; great-grandsons Noah Anthony Bartley and Jacob David Bartley; sisters Helen Alexander and Louise Labozzetta; sisters-in-law Margaret Geglio and Anne Imperi. Irene attended Aquinas College graduated from Western Michigan University and received her Masters from Michigan State University. She retired as a teacher for the Grand Rapids Public Schools. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Jude Church 1120 Four Mile Rd. NE Rev. Thomas Page presiding. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery. Rosary will be recited 8:00 p.m. Visitation 6-8 p.m. at the OBrien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel 3980 Cascade Rd. SE and one hour prior to Mass at the church.
