VANBUSKIRK – Mrs. Ione V. Patterson VanBuskirk age 85 of Grand Rapids formerly of Harlingen TX went to be with the Lord on April 27 2010. She was preceded in death by her grandfather Fred E. Patterson grandmother Bertha Patterson; father Alvin E. Patterson; mother Marguerite McDonald Patterson; brother Donald E.Patterson; sister Catherine J. Patterson and husband Captain James A. VanBuskirk Sr. She is survived by her brother Alvin A. (Ruth) Patterson of GraftonWI; her children daughter Laura (David) Brooks of Las Vegas NV son Marko (Elizabeth) Zuber of Duluth MN son Dana Zuber of Las Vegas NV daughter Tina (Peter) Chadwick of Grand Rapids MI; grandchildren Dana (Ronda) Kennedy Anissa (Kraig) Karakas Kristofer (Amy) Zuber Paige and Ashlee Moran; great-grandchildren Terry and Garett Kennedy Elizabeth Catherine and Grace Karakas Nikolas and Chase Zuber; one great-great-grandchild Blake Kennedy; nieces and nephews Patrice Ballard Mary Beth Rosseau Susan Patterson Nancy Giesse Sandy Schoessou Patrick Patterson and David Patterson. Memorial services will be held in Superior Wisconsin at Greenwood Cemetery in mid May. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimers Association of Michigan.
