HELEN MAXINE THOMPSON

Helen Maxine Thompson, age 83 of Grand Rapids, passed away Saturday, October 5, 2013. She is survived by her husband of 66 years “Bud”; children, Debra (John) Patterson, Michael (Karen) Thompson; sisters, Ruth Niewald; sister-in-law, Jane (Richard) Spangle; grandchildren, Robert (Vanessa) Bozworth, Amy (Bill) Crum, Kim (Mike) Carney, Jessica (Cory) Couch, Westley Thompson, Erika Chambers, Austin Thompson, and Mikaela Chambers. Helen was a loving mother and grandmother to so many. Her interests were many, she made porcelain dolls, enjoyed sewing, knitting and crochet, but some of her best times were spent camping around the U.S. and New Zeeland with Bud.
