Harry J. Beck, age 87 of East Grand Rapids died Friday, November 16, 2012. He was born in Guttenberg, New Jersey. Harry was the beloved husband of Ann Beck and father of Jeanne (William) Illenye and Mary
(Robert) Chapman. Harry served his country as a proud U.S. Marine in the South Pacific during World War II with the first Marine Battalion in Nagasaki after the devastation of that city. He was National Sales and Marketing Manager for Jackson Products and was later self-employed.
