Harry Elof Erickson, age 85, a life-long resident of Alto, met his Lord on Tuesday, October 26, 2021. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patsey Erickson (2014); parents, Elof and Anna Erickson; brothers, Arthur, Paul, and Norman Erickson; and sister, Helen McCaul. He is survived by daughters, Pam (Rick) Price, Barb Erickson, Brenda Erickson; grandchildren, Ryan (Darcie) Erickson, Andrea Price, Nathan (fiancé Kayla Martin) Price; four great-grandchildren; brothers, John Erickson, Alvin Erickson; sister, Esther Erickson; sisters-in-law, Bertha Erickson, Tanzy Lawrence; brother-in-law, Richard Ford; and many nieces and nephews. Harry loved his Lord, family, and was a very faithful man. He was humorous, a storyteller, loved people, and was known as the “Alto Historian.” Harry was always riding the roads to visit friends. Visitation will be held 2-5 PM Sunday, October 31, 2021, at the Apostolic Hall, 7700 Wingeier Ave., Alto, MI 49302. Funeral services will be 1 PM Monday, November 1, 2021, at Apostolic Christian Church, 7157 Wingeier Ave., Alto, MI 49302 with visitation one hour prior. Interment Bowne Center Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the Apostolic Church.

Your Dad was a very Special person, Harry was sincere when he asked you “how are you and Pete doing?”, he really meant that and checked on us with love!! I will miss hearing him say “are you on your way to IN to see your daughters, Lyn” when I would stop in the station to get coffee! Harry made many people smile and made their day better!! Our sincere sympathy to his family.
