Geraldine (Gerry) Grace Halland

Geraldine (Gerry) Grace Halland, age 89 of Grand Rapids, passed away Sunday, December 19, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph & Dorothy Miller; and siblings, Ray, Bob, Florence, and Jeanne. Gerry is survived by her husband of 61 years, John Halland; children, Mary Lynn, Laura (Bill), John Jr. (Tram), Kurt (Shannon); grandchildren, Kathryn (Mark), Elizabeth (Dan), Kristin (Jack), Brittany, Colleen, Emily, Ashton, Ryann, Anders; and sisters, Ruth, Rita, and Mary Lou. Gerry worked as a real estate agent for Greenridge Realty, was a leader of the Recovery International Organization, and enjoyed a lifetime of singing in church choirs. Visitation will be 6-8pm Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel, 3980 Cascade Rd. SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11am Thursday, December 23, 2021, at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 2750 Burton St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546 with visitation one-hour prior. Rev.
