George Dale England MD

George Dale England M.D., age 68 of East Grand Rapids, passed away Monday, July 25, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents H. Paul England and Annie Ruth McElroy England; wife Barbara Jean England. He is survived by his daughter Bay Hartness England, son Creed Barton England; also several grandchildren and cousins. Dr. England did his undergraduate studies at Mississippi College, received his Masters from Mississippi State University, and attended Tulane Medical School. He completed his residency at Charity Hospital of New Orleans, LA, followed by a fellowship in London, England. Dr. England was a member of Congress of Neurological Surgeons and the American Board of Neurological Surgery. He was a lover of the outdoors and became a Master Gardener in 2014.  A Memorial Service will be held Friday, July 29, 2:00 p.m. at Fountain Street Church, 24 Fountain St. N.E., Grand Rapids, MI 49503. Rev. Jason Hubbard officiating. Visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Fountain Street Church.
