Erwin Kuester

ERWIN RICHARD KUESTER, age 79 of Ada, passed away suddenly Sunday, November 6, 2016. He is survived by his wife of 53 years Lieselotte H. J. Kuester (Meckes); sons Ulrich (Sheila) Kuester and their children Stefan and Erin, Holger Kuester, Carsten (Dorthy) Kuester and their children Leah, Gabriel and Olivia; brothers Herbert Kuester, Werner (Edeltraut) Kuester; sisters Lilly (Karl) Heilmann, Erika (Dietmar) Lauer; sister-in-law Baerbel Heitmann; also nieces and nephews. Erwin was born in Polier, Germany on February 5, 1937. He and wife Lieselotte were co-owners of East End Pastries in Gaslight Village for over 25 years. Erwin enjoyed his years as a member of Edelweiss Club and Choir. Visitation will be Thursday 5-8:00 p.m. at Thornapple Community Church, 3260 Thornapple River Dr. S.E., Grand Rapids, MI 49546. Funeral service will be held at the church on Friday 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Tim Dieffenbach officiating. Interment Ada Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Thornapple Community Church.
