Emil Paulsen

PAULSEN – Emil Paulsen aged 89 of Lowell passed away July 26 2008. He is survived by his wife of 64 years Genevieve; daughter Ann (John) LaBine of Alto; grandson Emil (Laura) Carroll of Hanna WY; sisters-in-law Beverly Zahn Pat Davis and Shirley (Bob) Heiftji; and many nieces and nephews. Emil was born in Gowen and graduated from Belding High School. He served during WWII in the Air Corps. And later was a telegraph operator for the railroads. Mr. Paulsen had a great love for the outdoors and animals especially raising his beagles. Following Emil’s wishes there will be no formal services. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kent County Humane Society.
