ELLEN BEATRICE MILLER

Ellen Beatrice Miller, age 86, entered the Gates of Heaven Thursday, September 29, 2016. She was born December 8, 1929 to John and Mary (Collins) Waldren in Barry County, Michigan. Ellen was united in marriage to Glenn Miller, Jr. August 21, 1948. Seven children were born of this union, which lasted 47 years until Glenn’s death in 1995. She was a Lowell resident for 68 years. Ellen was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn; and her daughter, Mary Ellen Martin. She is survived by her children, Virginia Conner, Patricia (Allan) Mull, Mel (Linda) Miller, Shirley (Timothy) Stevens, Michael Miller, Lorena Smith; brother, Douglas (Linda) Waldren; 21 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Saturday, October 1, from 4-7:00 p.m. at Roth-Gerst Funeral Home, 305 N. Hudson, Lowell. Funeral service will be Sunday, October 2, 4:30 p.m. at the funeral home chapel. Pastor Ken Ford officiating. Interment Oakwood Cemetery, Lowell.
