Elizabeth Pauline Smith

Elizabeth “Betty” Pauline Smith, age 95 of Lowell, went to be with her Lord, Saturday, June 12, 2021.  She was born March 28, 1926, in Wyoming Township, to Peter & Elizabeth Baker. She was preceded in death by her son, Donald Smith; granddaughter, Maria Rottier; her parents; and also all of her siblings. She is survived by her husband, Emerson of 73 years; daughters, Mary (Bob) Rottier, Sara Steenwyk; daughter-in-law, Jackie Smith; brothers-in-law, Bert Boes, Bernard Smith; sister-in-law, Marge Baker; 10 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Betty and Emerson farmed together for over 60 years and were members of the Alton Bible Church for 62 years. Visitation will be held Monday, June 21, from 6-8 PM at Alton Bible Church, 2780 Lincoln Lake Avenue, NE, Lowell, Michigan 49331.  The funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 22, at 11 AM at Alton Bible Church with visitation one hour prior. Rev. Ken Ford officiating. Interment Alton Cemetery.  In memory of Betty Smith, memorial contributions may be made to the Alton Church Society.
