Edward VanCott

Edward T. VanCott, age 72, of Harrison, MI, formerly of Lowell, passed away Monday, May 1, 2023, in Claire, MI. He was preceded in death by his step-son, Archie A. Howling. Ed is survived by his wife, Kay VanCott; children, Lorie (Dan) Hopkins, Dean (Linnea) Howling, Lesa Howling; grandchildren, Paul Fortier, Dawn (Dan) Borgula, Taylor (Jenna) Hopkins; and great-grandchildren, Liam & Emmett Hopkins. Ed retired from the Laurels of Kent where he worked as a social worker. He loved bowling and was previously a Deacon at the Good Shepard Church. A Celebration of Life will be held later this summer.
