Edward A. Leonard

Edward A. Leonard, age 76, born August 6, 1942, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2019, in Atlanta, Ga. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Julie Katherine; parents, Michael and Mary Leonard; brothers, Thomas, Father John and Robert; and sister, Kathleen Leonard Farhat. He is survived by his wife, Nancy; son, Robert Michael (Elizabeth) Leonard; and grandchildren, Patrick, Catherine, and Sean, all of Atlanta, Ga;   sisters,  Ann Molenda and Margaret Karczewski; brother-in-law, William Farhat; sister-in-law, Barbara Leonard; many nieces and nephews.   Ed graduated from Catholic Central High School and Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, MI. He worked in the banking industry and retired to Bluffton, SC, where he was active in the bicycle club, woodworkers club and in his parish, St. Gregory the Great. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered for Edward at 11 AM on Saturday, April 6 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 1935 Plymouth Ave SE, Grand Rapids. Visitation begins at 10 AM before the service. Interment immediately following at Woodlawn Cemetery.
