DEJONGE – Dr. Robert A. DeJonge age 55 died on October 13 2008 of a congenital heart defect. Dr. DeJonge was graduated from Rutgers College New Brunswick NJ with a B.A. in Mathematics The University of Arizona with a Masters of Science in Neurophysiology and The College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery Des Moines Iowa. Dr. DeJonge will be fondly remembered by his devoted patients for his gift of healing. In addition he was an international keynote speaker on complimentary medicine autism and Lyme disease. He served on the board of the American Academy of Anti-Aging American Academy of environmental medicine Autism Research Institute and American college for the Advancement of Medicine. Rob was an avid outdoorsman active in the Gus Macker marathons tennis and a member of Cascade Hills Country Club. He is survived by his wife Deborah; children Jordan Robert Reid and Paige; father Henry DeJonge; mother Jane DeNoble; brothers Henry Steven and Michael; sisters Leslie Orton and Cheryl Vanderjact. Funeral will be held at Keystone Community Church 655 Spaulding Ave., S.E. on at 12:00 noon. Visitation will be at the church from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to DAN (Defeat Autism Now) Association.
