Dorothy Mae Risner, age 90 of Lowell, went to be with her Lord and Savior peacefully on January 5, 2023. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Jewel Ritenburg, Shelva Smith; and great-grand daughter, Adalyn Smith. She is survived by her daughter, Debra (Dave) De Young; son, Steve (Cora) Risner; son, Terry Risner; daughter, Kim (Tom) Yonker; 11 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; brothers, Donald (Barb) Patrick, Lawrence (Shirley) Patrick; and sisters, Delores (Dennis) Spitzley, JoAnne Irwin. Dorothy loved being with her family and making pies and homemade noodles for them. She loved the farm life, especially her Hereford cows. She enjoyed gardening and canned anything and everything. Dorothy worked at Amway Company for more than 25 years. Visitation will be held 3-6 PM, Monday, January 9, 2023, at Roth-Gerst Chapel, 305 N. Hudson St., Lowell, MI 49331. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at Calvary Grace Brethren Church, 13700 84th St. SE, Alto, MI 49302, with visitation one hour prior. Pastor Russ Simpson officiating. Interment Bowne Center Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Lowell Pink Arrow Project, PO Box 246, Lowell, MI 49331.

So sorry I can’t make it, I fell Saturday night and am unable to walk too much. Aunt Dorothy was one of the greats, and I’ll miss her dearly!!! May she be rejoicing with my Our Lord, my Mom, Shelva, and the rest of her loved ones.
