Donna Jean Blocher

Donna Jean Blocher, age 91 of Lowell, Michigan, is now home in the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Tuesday, June 2, 2020. Born December 20, 1928, Donna is preceded in death by her husband, Paul R. Blocher; mother, Doris Linton; stepfather, George Linton; sister, Majorie Post; brother, John Linton; father and mother-in-law, Clinton and Mabel Blocher. She will be missed by her brother, Richard Doezema; her children, Michael, Mark (Julie), Douglas (Amy), and Timothy (Cindi); sister-in-law, Betty Craig; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, and many extended family members and friends. Donna was a graduate of Lowell High School and a member of Lowell United Methodist Church. A private family funeral, due to covid-19 restrictions, will take place at Roth-Gerst Chapel. The family will greet visitors at a public graveside memorial service that will take place at Merriman Cemetery, 12030 52nd St. SE, Alto, MI at 1pm on Friday, June 5, 2020. Donna’s desire is that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Flat River Outreach Ministries, 11535 Fulton St. E, Lowell, MI 49331.

  4. Donna’s time on earth was well lived. She will be missed here, but welcomed home with open arms. She was one of the few left from our generation of the Murray family.
