Diane Bates

Diane Bates, age 74 of Owosso, passed away surrounded by loving family members on February 2, 2014. Diane was an accomplished Mother, proud Grand Mother and loving Sister but above all, she was a true friend to all. She enjoyed cooking, story-telling, fishing, Bingo, crossword puzzles and more. She took great pride in her many years of employment at Owosso Motor Products. She was preceded in death by her father, William Goldman; mother, Waunetta Goldman (Shinew); brothers, William (Cora) Goldman and Robert (Patricia) Goldman. She is survived by her dear love, Floyd Wisenbaugh; brother, Willard (Marilyn) Goldman; children, Thomas (Connie) Bates, Rodney (Jackie) Bates, Kathleen (Michael) Brown, Christine (David) Markette, Michael (Teri) Bates, David (Mary) Bates, Alicia (Matthew) O’Connor, Rhonda Young and Nicki Stafford (Jason); many beautiful grandchildren and great grandchildren. A luncheon will be held Saturday, February 15th, from Noon-3:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall at Owosso Wesleyan Church, 715 S Washington St, Owosso. At 3:00 pm, there will be a graveside service at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens on South Washington St. Flowers may be brought to the luncheon Saturday or you may honor her memory in your own way.
