David Cook Smith

SMITH – David Cook Smith aged 77 of Grandville passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on December 11 2009. He was preceded in death by his parents Maynard S. and Mildred Smith and brother Maynard S. Smith Jr. He is survived by his wife Geraldine S. Smith; children D. Christopher (Julia) Smith Lauranne M. (John) OConnor Gerrianne M. (Bruce) Schuler Andrew J. ((Karin) Smith and Michael S. Smith; grandchildren Amanda M. (Jacob), Katie Ella Lola; great-granddaughter Mya; mother Mary Jane Smith; brother Scott A. (Lynne) Smith; sister Bonnie (David) Hartman; several nieces and nephews. David was a kind and gentle man a loving husband and father. David served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. A Celebration of Davids life will be held at 1:00 PM December 19 at the OBrien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel 3980 Cascade Rd. SE. Visitation one hour prior to the service.
