Daniel Edward Mikrut

Daniel Edward Mikrut, age 64 of Newaygo, passed away Friday, October 8, 2021. He was preceded in death by his father, Isidore Mikrut; brother, Joseph Mikrut; and nephew, James Mikrut. Danny is survived by his children, Joshua Mikrut (Jessica Young), Daniel Morris, Christopher (Anna) Spaulding; grandchildren, Danny, Trenton, Harlen, Elyzabel, Piper, Arielle, Temperance, Frank, Eugene, Armani, Bellamy, Aiden; mother, Florence Mikrut; siblings, Michalene (David) Mikula, Pam (Tom) Joyce, Patrick (Cindy) Mikrut, Janet (Kenneth) Butts, Thaddeus Mikrut, Kathleen (Kenny) Cordell, William (Kay) Mikrut, Sherry (John) Gallagher, Marcia (JJ) Frederick, Monica Mikrut (Joe Thienes); numerous nieces and nephews; and many cousins. Danny was a kind and loving man. He continuously gave of himself to anyone that was in need. Danny lived quietly and asked for nothing. He loved the Lord and was a man of great faith. Danny was a collector of many things including, lighthouses, and cars. He will be dearly missed by many. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 11, 2021, from 2-4 PM & 6-8 PM, and 9-10 AM on Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Funeral Home, 3980 Cascade Rd. SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546. Rosary will begin at 7:00 PM, Monday, October 11, 2021. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM, on Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at St. Isidore Catholic Church, 628 Diamond Ave NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49503. Monsignor Edward Hankiewicz celebrant. Memorial Contributions can be made to his family.
