Dale Martin Decker, age 87 of Grand Rapids, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents Martin and Jean, and sister Joyce Decker. He is survived by his wife of 64 years Lois; children Doug Decker, Karen (Geoffrey Broomberg) Johnson; brother Donald (Irene) Decker; sister Janet Decker; grandchildren Jenny (Jason), April (Jeff), Elizabeth (Matt), Tressa, Issabelle, and Lydia; six great grandchildren; also many nieces and nephews. Dale worked at Michigan Consolidated Gas Company for 35 years and for many years at Decker and Sons Appliances. He was a proud veteran of the US Army. Visitation will be Tuesday 6-8:00 p.m. at O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel, 3980 Cascade Rd. S.E., Grand Rapids. Funeral service will be Wednesday 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home chapel. Rev.
