Bruce Wayne Groendyk

Bruce Wayne Groendyk, made his transition on Monday, August 29, 2022, following a short illness. He is survived by Barb, his wife of 38 years; and his children, Paula, Andres, and Elver. He is also survived by uncles, Bob Swart, Ken (Kathy) Swart, sisters-in-law, Peggy Tepper, Katie (Jan) Maskell, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Bruce was a proud graduate of Hope College (1975). He loved baseball (yes, even the Tigers), his morning coffee, University of Michigan sports (mainly because of Barb, there was no other choice!), observing the beauty of nature, and being “dad” to many fur babies over the years. He often remarked that the best thing he ever accomplished was 18 years ago, bringing Paula, Andres, and Elver “home” from Colombia. He is, and always will be, loved from the bottom of our hearts.
