Brian M. Golombek

GOLOMBEK – Brian M. Golombek age 37 of Grand Rapids passed away suddenly October 12 2008. He is survived by his parents Carol and Richard Golombek of Ada MI; brother Charles (Janna) Golombek of Siletz Oregon and his daughters Brandi and Ashley; sister Christine (Jeffrey) Castro and their daughters Corrie and Cassandra of Saline MI; aunts and uncles Maureen and Ronald Trumble of Ada MI Janet and Hubert Stephens of Jackson MI; and cousins; his special friend Karla Johnson of Grand Rapids. Brian graduated from both Grand Valley State University and Michigan State University. He worked as Head Newscast Director at WXMI-FOX 17 News for 7 .5 years. Brian was given the Tribune Honor for Leadership Award. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered October 17 at at St. Robert of Newminister Church 6477 Ada Dr. S.E. with Rev. Thomas Vesbit presiding. Visitation will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Funeral Home 3980 Cascade Rd. S.E. Memorial contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation
