BROCKETTE, BRIAN ALAN – age 20, of CALEDONIA formerly of CASCADE
We are deeply grieving the unexpected loss, on Monday, June 30, 2014, of our dear son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend Brian Alan Brockette. He was preceded in death by his grandpa, Ted Brockette. He is survived by his parents Joan (John) Boger, Al Brockette; brothers, Scott Brockette, Mike Brockette; sisters Lauren (Matt) Bir, Megan Brockette; step-sister, Jodi (Joe) Rzpecki; step-brother, Mike Boger; grandparents, John and Barb VanLaar, Shirley Brockette, Cheryl Dalton, Joy Boger. Brian brought laughter into our lives with his exuberant, boisterous, personality. Brian was full of life and along with his handsome smile came an infectious laugh. Along with his infectious laugh came a tenderness, lots of hugs and a huge heart for his friends and family. Brian was always full of energy. No matter what he did, he did it with vigor. He was a natural leader since his elementary days and finished high school with the honor of the commencement speech, and Brian’s typical jokes. Brian found joy in his own life by being with others. He had a need to be surrounded by family and friends and he thrived with these relationships. He leaned on others to encourage him spiritually, to enable his success and to get the most out of life. There are no words to describe the pain of missing Brian. Brian attended Berean Baptist Church and Ada Bible Church. He attended Forest Hills Central High School and graduated from Northview Alt. Education. Funeral Service will be held Thursday 11:00 a.m. at Keystone Community Church, 655 Spaulding Ave., Ada Pastor Brady Nemmers officiating. Interment Cascade Cemetery.
