Bernard Joseph Conens

CONENS Bernard Joseph Conens age 82 of Spring Lake passed away February 13 2011. He was preceded in death by his first wife Alida. He is survived by his second wife Donna; children Vince (Linda), Lucia (Peter) VanderLoon Rob (Sue), Trish Bailey Sandy (Ed) Doctor Pam (Phil) LaFrance Robin (Scott Southworth) Lucie; 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren. Ben was an artist in both painting and singing and loved sailing and boating. He was the founder of Modern Optics and Grand Valley Co-op. Memorial service will be held 5:00 PM at OBrien-Eggebeen-Gerst. Rev. John J. Kenny CSP of Cathedral of St. Andrew. Visitation will be 3-5 PM at OBrien-Eggebeen-Gerst 3980 Cascade Road Grand Rapids.
