Beatrice Bedi

Charlotte Beatrice Bedi, age 87 of Grand Rapids, passed away Thursday, May 21, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert in 2002. She is survived by her son, James and Diana Bedi of Ada; grandchildren, Alison and David Marchbanks and Andrea Bedi; sister, Rosemarie Steinbrecher and several nieces and nephews. Char was born and raised in Chicago and Berwyn, Illinois. She was a secretary at Studebaker executive offices in Chicago, was a teletype operator at Sears, Roebuck and was a secretary at Ada Elementary for many years. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Wednesday May 27 at 11:00 AM at St. Robert of Newminster Church, 6477 Ada Dr. SE, Rev. Leonard Sudlik, presiding. Interment Cascade Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday 6-8 PM at the O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel, 3980 Cascade Rd. SE. Memorial contributions may be made to Gentiva Hospice, 4081 Cascade Rd. SE, Grand Rapids, Michigan 49546.
