Barbara Jean Meyers (Jean)

Barbara Jean Meyers (Jean), age 84, went to be with her Lord on Friday, June 22, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, John Meyers. She was born on March 7, 1934 in Flint and moved to Clare in 1959 where she lived for 50 years. Jean will be lovingly remembered by her children, Mike (Debbie), Mary (Mike), Mindy (Mike), Mark (Andra) and her eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Jean worked for the Clare Public Schools for over 20 years. She was a long time parishioner and volunteer at St. Cecilia Church in Clare. She loved new technology, photography, reading, walking and painting portraits. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 29, at 1:00 PM at St. Robert of Newminster Parish, 6477 Ada Dr SE, Ada, MI. Rev. Leonard Sudlik officiating. Interment will be held on Friday, July 6, at 11:00 AM at St. Cecilia Cemetery, 106 E. Wheaton Ave, Clare, MI. Rev. Peter Nwokoye officiating.
