Barbara J. England

Barbara J. England, age 67 of East Grand Rapids, passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Betty Humphries. She is survived by her husband of 15 years, George; brother, Bruce (Susan) Humphries, nieces, Heidi Humphries, Anna Kalkman; and her loving cats, Frieda and Cobb. Barb was fond of hats and was often found wearing those from her collection. She attended the Three Arts Club Music Conservatory in Chicago and was a graduate of Aquinas College. Her participation in various musical and choral groups allowed her to share her voice over the years. A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, July 7, 2:00 p.m. at Fountain Street Church, 24 Fountain Street N.E., Grand Rapids, MI 49503. Rev. Elizabeth Barnum officiating. Visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Fountain Street Church.
