Audrey Polick

Audrey Mae Polick, age 92, was called home to her Lord and Savior on September 25, 2016.  She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 47 years, George J. Polick.  Audrey will be greatly missed by her children Jeffrey Polick (Melissa) of Mill Valley, CA., Lorie Lang (Dr. James Lang) of Grand Rapids, Grandchildren Christopher (Cathy) Lang, Jonathan Lang, Peter (Lauren) Lang.  Great grandchildren Caden and Ashton Lang.  Audrey devoted her life to raising her family and took exceptional pride in her grandchildren who were the light of her life.  Audrey was a lifelong member of Trinity Lutheran Church.  She and George spent their retirement years in Belleair, FL enjoying golf and time with dear friends.  The family would like to thank the staff at Porter Hills Skilled Nursing for their care and compassion during Audrey’s extended illness.  There will be a memorial service on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 11:00 am with a one hour visitation prior at Trinity Lutheran Church, 2700 Fulton Street East, Grand Rapids, MI 49506, Rev. Robert Linstrom officiating.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Porter Hills Benevolent Fund, 4450 Cascade Rd. SE 49546 or a charity of one’s choice.
