ATHALEE B. SCHAUER

Athalee B. Schauer, age 97 of Grand Rapids formerly of Detroit, passed away Thursday, October 1, 2015. She was preceded in death by husband Karl; son Carl Schauer; sister Elizabeth Price; and niece Carolyn. She survived by niece Martha Price-Smith; first cousin Mary Ann Gottschalk-Overturf. Athalee was a former member of Hope Lutheran church of Detroit. A Memorial Service will be held Sunday 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church, 3950 Leonard St. NW, Grand Rapids. Pastor Kenneth Bomburger officiating.
