Anne G. Postma, born to John & Rose Skula, raised in Chicago, met, and married Herb Postma Sr., moved to Holland Michigan where Herb Jr. was born, on to Grand Rapids, Michigan where sons Randall and Harold were born. She was an amazing woman, loving wife, mother & grandmother, absolutely full of life, generous with her time and resources, so positive, incredible drive, and a friend to everyone she met!
Western Michigan is where she established herself as a true matriarch, businesswoman, philanthropist, and a LEGEND. Beginning in the 1950’s building the family business with Herb Sr. partner in H. F. Postma Gravel Co. Then as Co-Founder with Herb and sons, built Dryland & Grand Isle Marina throughout Western Michigan and the on to Florida. Then in 1993 after selling the family business Anne & Herb Sr. retired to Boca Raton Florida, where they were very active with their grandchildren as well as social and charitable activities.
Anne was preceded in death by her husband, Herb Sr.; son, Harold; and granddaughter, Courtney. After 96 years well lived, Anne went peacefully to be eternally with her Lord Jesus, her husband, family & friends. She is survived by sons, Herb Jr. (Jeanne) Postma, Randall (Debbie) Postma; daughter-in-law, Lindy Postma; grandsons, Jonathan (Lauren), Carey; granddaughters, Tiffany (Scott) Woolley, Sandi (Jamie Kosch) Gentry, Julie (Paulo) Texeira; great-grandchildren; Estella, George, Kenzington, Paris, Charlotte, Mckensie Anne (Luke) Weavers, Marissa (Tyler Cook), Macie Gentry, Madison Gentry, Alyssa; great great-granddaughters, Aila, and Haven.
The family would like to recognize and thank the loving & caring staff at: Veranda Club Residence & Trustbridge Hospice, for their excellent care.
Graveside Service at Woodlawn Cemetery, Thursday, September 16, 2021, at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be directed to Trustbridge Hospice, 5300 East Ave, West Palm Beach FL. 33407 in memory of Anne Postma.

A wonderful mother in law to me and great grandmother to my children— I know our daughter was there to greet her in heaven and give her a big hug— definitely heaven gained another nice soul

RIP Grandma…I am so thankful for so many wonderful memories with grandma…such a wonderful caring person. She will be missed and remembered with love.
Anne was such a beautiful soul, inside and out! Always impeccably dressed, beautiful jewelry, full hair and makeup, such a class act! Gary and will miss seeing her, may she rest in eternal peace. Our condolences to her beautiful family.
