JASINSKI- Anne L. (Hauenstein) Jasinski loving wife mother and grandmother passed unexpectedly of a heart complication on December 9 2009 at the age of 71. Anne was born September 29 1938 to Howard and Evelyn (Nieboer) Hauenstein. She is survived by her husband Richard (Dick), A. Jasinski; daughter Mary M. (Robert) Buchanan; sons Richard (Tony) A. (Dawn) Jasinski Jr. and David W. Jasinski; grandchildren Ellie Brooke and Sarah Buchanan and Anthony and Grace Jasinski; sister Mary Deane of Irvine California; brother-in-law Donald (Lillian) Jasinski and sister-in-law Irene Hart all of Saginaw; uncle Ralph Hauenstein and many nieces nephews and cousins. Anne is a 1956 graduate of East Grand Rapids High School and earned bachelor and master degrees in education from Michigan State University. She started her career in retail sales at Wurzburgs Department Store where she captured the heart of her coworker and future husband. Dick and Anne married in 1962. Anne taught kindergarten at Campau Park Elementary School from 1960 to 1964 and preschool at Eastminster Presbyterian Church from 1973 to 1976. In 1977 Anne and her husband launched and for 20 years ran their successful furniture chain Lock Stock & Barrel. But most of all Anne loved laughing with and being involved in the joy-filled lives of her energetic grandchildren and spending time with her close family. Visitation will be held on December 14 from 5 to 8 PM and December 15 from to 12 PM at the OBrien-Gerst Funeral Home 3980 Cascade Rd., SE. A memorial service is planned for 12:00 PM on December 15 2009 at OBrien-Gerst Funeral Home.
