Ann Raterink

Ann Raterink, aged 61 of Grand Rapids, died Friday, November 23, 2018.  She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Wayne; children, Abbigale (Josh) Schwander and Cameron Raterink; grandson, Lucas Schwander; brother, Jim (Patti) Burruss; sister, Julie Burruss; brother-in-law, George (Ginger) Raterink and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.  Ann had a heart of gold and  loved the beach, boating, sun and sand.  She was the most kindhearted, selfless person you’d ever meet.  Ann was employed for over 35 years at Cannonsburg Ski Area as their controller.  She loved her pets: Hobbit, Madison and Felix.  There will be a celebration of Ann’s life in the summer.  No flowers please; in memory of Ann, please make contributions to the Humane Society of West Michigan, 3077 Wilson, NW, Grand Rapids, Michigan  49534; or The Spectrum Health Foundation for the Lemmen-Holton Cancer Center, 100 Michigan, NE, Grand Rapids, Michigan  49503.
