MURRAY Alexander Murray age 86 of Ada formerly of Allen Park passed away November 6 2010. He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years Catherine; brother Jack Murray. He is survived by his children Roxann & Gary Brown of Dearborn Dennis & Mary Anne Murray of Novi Colleen & Michael Sunderland of Tecumseh Jeffrey & Yvonne Murray of Grandville David & Andrea Murray of Ada; devoted significant other Evelyn Root; sisters Vivian Driver and Joyce Quellmalz; 20 grandchildren 5 great grandchildren. Al was a member of Kiwanis Amvets and an avid bowler. Funeral Service will be held November 11 at at OBrien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel 3980 Cascade Road Grand Rapids. Pastor Jeffrey David Burr officiating. Visitations will be held 2-4:00 PM and 6-8:00 PM at OBrien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel. Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to Spectrum Hospice Spectrum Health Foundation 100 Michigan N.E., Grand Rapids MI 49503.
