GUTIERREZ – Albert Paul Gutierrez aged 76 of Grand Rapids born July 9 1931 in Sedwich CO died June 20 2008. He was preceded in death by three sisters. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 20 years Karen; son Leonard (Lisa) Maiville; daughter Rhonda Ortegel; brothers Bill (Angie) Gutierrez and Magdaleno Neno (Kathy) Rodriguez; several grand-children and great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; special friend John Stack; many other friends and extended family. He served in the Korean Conflict and received the Purple Heart. He was honorably discharged in 1952. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered 11 a.m. at the Cathedral of St. Andrew 265 Sheldon SE Rev. Steven Cron presiding. Interment Graceland Memorial Park. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Visitation 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel 3980 Cascade Rd., SE. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
