VADER – Mr. Adrian Vader age 92 of Ada passed away peacefully Aug. 26 2009. He was preceded in death by his wife Imogene Vader in 2000 two sisters two brothers and many lifelong friends. He will be lovingly remembered and always celebrated by his daughters and sons-in-law Charlene Vader Jo-anne (Gary) Tuttle and Cindy (Doug) Domine all of Grand Rapids. As a father his unlimited support generous caring and positive attitude will forever be appreciated. His grandchildren Tara Domine Adrianne (Scott) Watkins Erin (Matt) Boeve and Spencer Domine will cherish wonderful memories of tractor rides fishing woodworking projects dessert oatmeal and lots of special family times at grandma and grandpas house. Adrian proudly served in the Army during World War II. His life work included the ownership of the Standard station in Ada and working for the Forest Hills School system. Adrians family will greet relatives and friends at OBrien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel 3980 Cascade Rd. SE on August 29 from 10 to with services following at with Rev. David VanderMeer officiating. Interment Ada Cemetery. For those who wish in lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Ada Historical Society 1629 Buttrick Ada Michigan 49301.
