William Lincer M.D., age 93 of Grand Rapids, died peacefully Sunday, November 12, 2023. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Drew Riebel. Bill is survived by his children, John Lincer, Barbara (George) Velcich, James (Debra) Lincer, David Lincer, Mary Lincer; grandchildren, Michael (Kathryn) Velcich, Rachel Lincer, Katherine (Matt) Bailey, Mary Lincer, William Riebel, Charles Ward; great-grandchildren, Elena Segovia, Laura Velcich, and Jenna Tennies; and longtime friend, Sandra Reed. Bill was a graduate of Xavier University, University of Cincinnati Medical School, and completed his radiology residency at the University of Michigan Medical School. After moving to Grand Rapids in 1962 he practiced radiology until retirement in 1997. He served as a physician in the United States Army at Fort Leonard Wood in Missouri. Visitation will be Thursday, November 30, 2023, from 7-9pm at O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel, 3980 Cascade Rd. SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546. Mass of Christian Burial will take place 11:00am Friday, December 1, 2023, at Immaculate Heart of Mary, 1935 Plymouth Ave. SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49506 with visitation one-hour prior. Fr.
