William K. “Bill” Faber, age 69, was greeted at heaven’s gates on Friday, December 1, 2023, by many loved ones who had passed before him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Anne Faber; his parents in-law, Bob and Hennie Buurma; and brother, Gary Faber. Bill is survived by his wife of 44 years, Yvonne Faber; children, Andrea Faber, Brandon Faber, Bradley Faber; brother, Tom (Lori) Faber; brother-in-law, Dan (Sandy) Buurma; and several nieces and nephews. He was a loving husband and devoted father with a great sense of humor. Bill spent his career in packaging sales and often mentored others that were new to the field. In his free time, he enjoyed golfing, hunting, sports, fast cars, and investing time and energy in his children. He especially loved watching his sons play baseball, helping his children with home projects, and his bird dogs.
Visitation will be held 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm on Sunday, December 10, 2023, at O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel, 3980 Cascade Rd SE, Grand Rapids, MI, 49546. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, December 11, 2023, at Ada Bible Church, 1640 E Paris Ave SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546 with visitation one hour prior. Rev. Kevin Baker officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Gilda’s Club of Lowell, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, or Ada Bible Church.
