Terry Lynn Highland, age 66, of Clarksville, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2025, at home, surrounded by loved ones, after a courageous three-year battle with lung cancer.

He was born on January 2, 1959, in Los Angeles, California, and raised in Sherwood, Ohio. Terry graduated from Fairview High School, class of 1977. As a Boy Scout, he proudly earned the rank of Eagle Scout. He continued his education at The Ohio State University, where he also played on the ice hockey team.

Terry later joined the United States Air Force. After leaving the military he moved back to Defiance and Toledo, Ohio, before settling in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He went on to work as a truck driver for NTB, Con-way, and most recently Herbruck’s, delivering eggs throughout Michigan, Illinois, and Wisconsin.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Reed and Dorothy (Aschemeir) Highland; parents-in-law, Robert L. and Sandra L. Myers; and brother-in-law, Philip P. Myers.

Terry is survived by his best friend and wife of 34 years, Brenda K. (Myers) Highland; brothers, Robert (Chalaem) Highland and David (Deb) Highland; sister, Becky (Scott) Harber; children, James Barhite, Henry Barhite, and Lisa Cullers; and grandchildren, Christian, Xavier, Aiden, and Alexander.

Terry’s grandchildren were the joy of his life. He loved traveling anywhere that had waterfalls and steam trains. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, and took pride in transforming a farm field into a beautiful, park-like yard. During his illness, he was lovingly cared for by his children and grandchildren, whose devotion and support brought him great comfort.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11am on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Clarksville Village Hall, 162 S. Main St. Clarksville, Michigan 48815, with visitation one hour prior. Pastor Boshoven officiating.

  1. Accomplishment Of a significant milestone in my Life. I am deeply grateful to Dr. OZ Oziengbe for casting a spell that helped me win $30.5 million in the Mega Millions lottery.
My name is Roland Miller, and I am from California. My wife left me seven months ago because I could no longer provide for her and our kids. Life became very difficult, and I could barely afford food.
One day, I came across Dr. OZ’s Testimonies online and saw many amazing testimonies from people he had helped win millions of dollars. I decided to give it a try. Dr. OZ guided me on what to do and gave me the Mega Millions winning numbers. I played them and won $30.5 million.
I am extremely grateful to Dr. OZ for this life-changing win, and I highly recommend him to everyone.
