Steven Wohlfeil, a longtime entrepreneur, contractor, and loving father passed away on Friday, February 2nd surrounded by loved ones in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Steve is survived by his wife, Christine Boyak-Wohlfeil; his children, Chris and Mel Lally, Sam, Josh, Jake, and Noah Wohlfeil; parents, Ed and Sharon Wohlfeil; several grandchildren; mother-in-law Carolyn Boyak; brothers, Ed, Matt, and Jeff; sisters, Becky, Heather, and Joani; and many other loved ones. He is preceded in death by his grandparents and father-in-law Felix Boyak.
Steve was born on February 13th, 1965, to Ed and Sharon Wohlfeil at Annapolis Hospital in Wayne, Michigan. He attended both Lee M Thurston and Gaylord High Schools and wore several hats in his career including Real Estate Broker, Contractor, and Entrepreneur as he owned his own log home design and building business.
Steve was a loving father with a big heart and only wanted the best for those in his life. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing guitar, writing, and creating music, and photography. He was a spiritual man who loved to be with his family and will be missed by many.
A memorial will be planned for a later date.

I was so sad when i heard about Steve’s death. My heart goes out to all our loved ones -family and friends, who shared this blessed life together. We will forever miss him and be reminded of fond memories when we think of Steve. Sending love 💗 and hugs to you all!

I’ll never forget watching “Podus Down” with the bathtub full of Corona. He had such a kind heart. Sending all the love and condolences to my Wohlfeil boys and their families.
Steve was always such a wonderful cousin! I am so saddened to learn of his passing away! He was loved by many!
