Shirley Jean Larrow Thompson, age 92 of Lowell has left us to go home to her Father on August 15th, 2024. She went to heaven to see her mother and father Charlotte and Arthur Larrow, her granddaughter Rachel Hoag and her husband of 64 years Franklin David Thompson. She leaves behind her children Frank Thompson, Marty Thompson, Sheila (Kevin) Hoag, Julie Echtinaw, and Mary Thompson.
She was loved by her grandchildren and great grandchildren who always made them feel like they were in Disneyland, where no children could do wrong. She loved living on the farm and showing her children a way of living, loving and life. She always chose to give of herself and her time over money.
She leaves behind a blessed family and will be missed by her family, her sister Joyce Howe, nieces and nephews. We are grateful that the Lord shared her with us and will forever be blessed.
We would like to include these words of comfort. John 14:1-3. Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God, believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms: if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.
A memorial service will be held at Ada Christian Reform at 7152 Bradfield St SE, Ada MI 49301, on Sunday August 25th, 2024. There will be a visitation at 12:30 PM to 1 PM and a service at 1 PM with refreshments to follow. Please come join us and share your memories of Shirley.
