Shirley Ann Carroll, 95, of Lowell, MI, entered Heaven on August 9, 2026. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Zada Carroll, her siblings, June and George, and her two best friends, Nila Smith and Norma Lemmon. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Shirley was a longtime devoted member of First Baptist Church of Lowell where she taught Sunday School and served on the missions committee for many years. She has been a faithful volunteer at Our Daily Bread in Grand Rapids for over 25 years.
Shirley was an elementary school teacher with both Rockford and Grand Rapids School Districts, retiring after 21 years of teaching. A great friend to many people, especially to her church family and neighbors, Shirley was well loved and will be missed by all.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, August 22, 2026, at First Baptist Church of Lowell, 2275 West Main St., Lowell, MI 49331 with visitation one hour prior. Pastor Mac Hildebrand officiating. Interment Bailey Cemetery.
