Scott T. Staskus

Scott T. Staskus, age 71 of Lowell passed away after a brief illness Thursday, September 26, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Elinor Staskus of Ada, MI; brother, Clark Staskus; sister, Nora Buck; and best friend, Mike Homrich. Scott is survived by his wife of 28 years, Nancy Staskus; children, Stacey (Mark) Preston, Scott (Kimberly) Staskus; stepson, Chris Dennie (fiancé Jenny); daughter-in-law, Melissa Dennie; grandchildren, Jordan Preston, Griffen (Kyrsten) Preston, Nolan Preston, Karsyn Preston, Christopher Staskus, Madison Mello, Kendall Richards-Saldivar, Jordan Dennie, Olivia Dennie, Caden Dennie; great-grandchildren, Oakleigh Preston, Onyx Wentworth; special niece, Chris (Dan) Talcott along with many other nieces, nephews and family friends; and his extra special big round hound, Zoey. Scott retired from Amway as a set up mechanic. He was an outdoorsman and especially enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also loved tinkering in his garage, watching the birds and the flowers grow that Nancy plants. Celebration of life will be held Monday, September 30, 2024, from 4-7pm at the Fallasburg Park Pavilion. Memorial contributions may be made to Pink Arrow Pride or Humane Society of West Michigan.
