Savannah Zoe Nanninga-Jensen, age 27 passed away unexpectedly due to illness Monday, March 6, 2023. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Larry Nanninga. Savannah is survived by her children, Kingston and Everly; parents, Leslie (Dave) Sheldon, Troy (Lu) Jensen; grandparents, Wendy VanDriel, Jack (Joan) Davis; sister, Makayla (Josh) Bowne; aunt, Kimberly Darko; uncles, Gary Jensen Jr., and Joel (Angela) Davis. Savannah graduated from Wyoming High School. She lived each day for her children and will be greatly missed. Memorial contributions may be made to Spinal Muscular Atrophy at https://www.curesma.org/. Visitation will be held 3-6pm Sunday, March 12, 2023, at O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel, 3980 Cascade Rd. SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546 with funeral service at 11:00am Monday, March 13, 2023.

Savana will be a loss experienced a long time. Everly and Kingston will be a wonderful reminder and extention of their Mom long into the future. I look forward to seeing them soon and often. “God is our refuge” — God is the One we can go to when we feel like life is coming at us from all directions. He is the one who will shelter us and “’cover thee with His feathers, and under His wings.’” (Psalm 91:4).
